4. How to create an account on Cotizi?
To create an account, you must enter your full name, a valid e-mail address and choose a password.
Your e-mail address and password is mandatory to log into your account on Cotizi.
5. How to contribute?
After receiving the invitation email to contribute to the created pool, click on the link available in the email.
Once logged into Cotizi, create an account and pay online by credit card via the secure online payment platform.
6. Are payments by international cards allowed?
Yes, they are allowed. Each contributor must pay with a Visa or MasterCard and must validated the 3D secure code received on the mobile number. This process is used to prevent fraud.
7. What are the minimum and maximum amounts for contribution and fundraising?
For a contribution: minimum 50 dirhams to 15,000 dirhams maximum.
For fundraising: minimum 50 dirhams to 200,000 dirhams maximum.
8. How to invite people to contribute to the pool?
After creating a Cotizi pool you can invite people in different ways:
- Enter email address to make an invite.
- Share your Cotizi pool URL on blog or personal page.
- Send an invitation or share the Cotizi pool via Facebook.
9. Who owns the funds?
The funded money is taken by the bank that handles the secure payment platform during the whole process.
10. How to recover the funds raised?
Once the funds are collected, you can recover it in 3 possible ways:
- Gift card on MesCadeaux.ma
- Voucher card at one our partner stores
- Transfer to a bank account
In the case of a bank transfer, you must send your account number to receive the amount collected (from which the banking and management fees are subtracted). It takes between 3-5 business days for the transfer to take place.
Only transfers to Moroccan banks are allowed.
11. Where to find my account number?
- You must call your bank or check your checkbook.
- The account number must include a total of 24 digits.
- Your account number is required for any bank transfer.
12. Who can see my pool?
Your pool is not public.
A pool can only be seen by the guests or any person in possession of the link.
13. Can I cancel or close my account?
You can delete your Cotizi account at any time.
If a pot is still open or if the amount collected has not yet been used, you will first need to apply for a bank transfer or recover the amount as a gift card or voucher, before closing your pool.
13. Can I change the details of my pool once created?
Yes, you can edit the details of your pool (name, description, picture,) at any time.
14. Can I add new guests?
Yes, it is even recommended. You can invite new people at any time.
15. The target amount has not been reached or exceeded. What should I do?
The amount has no impact on your pool: the target amount is indicative. Whatever the amount that is collected, you can transfer funds to your bank account or use the money on MesCadeaux.ma or one of our partners stores.
